APPRECIATION AND NAMING CEREMONY OF LI PAU CHEUNG CLASSROOM
In appreciation of the heartfelt donation from Mr Li Pau Cheung in support of the construction of the new Academic Building “Creative Humanities Hub” and its long-term development, The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) held an appreciation and naming ceremony of Li Pau Cheung Classroom on 11 August 2023. The officiating guests were Mr Li Pau Cheung, Director of Lipu Industrial Company Limited and President Professor Simon S. M. Ho.
In his welcome remarks, President Simon Ho conveyed his genuine gratitude to Mr Li Pau Cheung for his recognition and encouragement of HSUHK’s development. The University will continue to strive for excellence by offering a unique “Liberal + Professional” education model to nurture outstanding talents with critical thinking, innovative minds, caring attitudes, moral values and social responsibility for the community, making contributions to Hong Kong, the country and the world.
After the ceremony, the officiating guests proceeded to visit the Li Pau Cheung Classroom. Located on the third floor of N Building on Yuen Campus, Li Pau Cheung Classroom serves as an exceptional venue for tutorials and group discussions.
