Welcoming a global cohort, building a connected community
The Advancement and Alumni Affairs Office (AAAO) was delighted to meet new postgraduate students at the Welcoming Fair held as part of the orientation on 3 September. Upon joining HSUHK, they also became Associate Alumni, connecting them with the University’s wider alumni community from the very beginning of their postgraduate journey.
This year’s diverse cohort includes students from Hong Kong SAR, the Chinese Mainland, Australia, Canada, Singapore, the United States, Pakistan, India, Russia and other regions, reflecting HSUHK’s increasingly international learning environment. At the Welcoming Fair, AAAO introduced its work and shared opportunities for Associate Alumni to engage with the wider alumni community. Many students expressed strong interest in staying connected with AAAO, receiving future updates and participating in alumni activities and initiatives.
AAAO looks forward to fostering meaningful connections with Associate Alumni and supporting their engagement with the HSUHK community as they embark on this new chapter of their academic journey.
