The exhibition “South Country in Days of Yore” featuring paintings and calligraphy by Zhang Xiaoyou was held on campus from 11 to 23 October 2018. A total of 39 artworks by Professor Zhang Xiaoyou was showcased, including his ruler paintings, freehand paintings, Dunhuang paintings, and calligraphic pieces.

The opening ceremony on 11 October 2018 was officiated by Prof. Zhang Xiaoyou, Adjunct Professor; Mr Chan Shing Wai, Assistant Director (Heritage and Museums) of Hong Kong SAR Government’s Leisure and Cultural Services Department; Dr Sin Wai Kin; and President Simon Ho.

The event was a great success thanks to the special efforts of Council Member and alumnus Mr Dannie Cheung Kong-ting and the enthusiastic participation by Dr Jacky Cheung Wah-keung, also a Council Member and alumnus, as well as other alumni together with their friends and families.
