Dr Cho Kwai Chee, Founder & Chairman of Cho Kwai Chee Foundation and Ms Sindy Lau, Chief Operating Officer of the foundation, visited HSMC on 26 September and were warmly welcomed by Ms Ada Leung, Associate Vice-President (Advancement & Industry Liaisons). Ms Leung brought the guests on a tour around the campus, including academic buildings, the Sports and Amenities Centre, and the HSMC Jockey Club Residential Colleges. Dr Cho praised the achievement and contribution HSMC has made to higher education, and he also shared his experience in operating charitable organisations. Charity and education both share the aim for betterment of the society, and Dr Cho encouraged HSMC to continue striving for its vision to nurture younger generation. 

After the tour, President Prof. Simon Ho hosted a luncheon for Dr Cho and Ms Lau. Prof. Ho presented his new book “The Value of Leadership” to Dr Cho as a token of appreciation for his visit. The two then exchanged views on leadership qualities.
