Coming Home – HSUHK Alumni Homecoming Visit
The Advancement and Alumni Affairs Office was delighted to welcome alumni back to HSUHK on 7 February for a relaxing spring Homecoming Visit. With the campus easing into a new season, it was the perfect time for graduates to return and see how their alma mater continues to grow.
The tour took alumni on a journey through both familiar landmarks and newly developed facilities. Highlights included the Martin Ka Shing Lee Innovation Lab and Multimedia Commons, where alumni explored modern media‑creation facilities, and the University Library Archive Room, which showcased selected materials from past decades. The experience ranging from revisiting history to discovering recent innovations sparked many engaging conversations along the way.
Participants also passed by the Old Hall, a place that brought back many fond memories, and the Jockey Club Residential Colleges, where today’s students enjoy a vibrant campus life. The group then visited the HSUHK – Foundation Gallery to view an exhibition featuring works by Art and Design students. Afterwards, alumni gathered for light refreshments and a casual catch‑up. It was an easygoing time for everyone to sit together, reflect on the good old days, and share how their own journeys have unfolded since graduation.
