Discussion room A004 in Hang Seng Management College (HSMC) Library has been named as “Dr Ho Wai Kuen Discussion Room” in recognition of donation from Dr Ken Ho Wai Kuen, Founder and Chairman of Artical Printing Group. A Naming Luncheon held to mark the occasion was attended by friends of Dr Ho and guests from The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong.

The event was officiated by Dr Ho and his family members, together with HSMC President Professor Simon S. M. Ho and Provost Professor Gilbert Chee Fun Fong.

President Ho thanked Dr Ho for his confidence in the College’s future and genuine gift to benefit its ongoing development. He also conveyed his appreciation for Dr Ho’s contributions towards the resettlement of rehabilitated persons in the community. Reflecting on the development history and strengths of HSMC, President Ho invited the guests to join hands together in support of the sustainable advancement of the College.

In his remarks, Dr Ho shared his mission and vision regarding rehabilitation of ex-offenders, as well as his recent accomplishments in spearheading some rehabilitative initiatives with a view to promoting their reintegration into society in positive ways.

Fully equipped with computer facilities and conveniently located on the Library ground floor at S H Ho Academic Building, the Discussion Room is an ideal venue for small group learning and exchange.
