The Alumni Homecoming Sports Day was successfully held on 22 Jun 2019 with over 80 participants including alumni from HSSC, HSMC and HSUHK, their friends and family members, staff members and students, who shared an enjoyable weekend together. The event was co-organised with Hang Seng Management College and Hang Seng School of Commerce Alumni Association Limited (HSMC / HSSC AA) with the support of the Student Affairs Office.

To kick off the event, President Prof. Simon Ho; Dr Jacky Cheung, Council Member and an alumnus of HSSC; Dr Tom Fong, Vice-President (Organisational Development); Ms Elisa Chan, Director of Advancement and Alumni Affairs; and Mr Dicky Yuen, Chairman of HSMC / HSSC AA officiated at the opening ceremony.

With the comprehensive sports facilities at the Lee Shau Kee Complex, all participants immersed themselves in various activities including badminton, flyball, table tennis, stretching and flexibility training, fitness training and a dip in the indoor swimming pool. At the President Badminton Challenge – the highlight of the day – President Ho was joined by alumni for a great time on the badminton courts.

At the closing ceremony, President Ho presented souvenirs to winners of the President Badminton Challenge. A lucky draw was held afterwards to add fun and merriment to the joyous event. A campus tour guided by student ambassadors was given to keep the participating alumni abreast of the latest developments of their alma mater.

On that nostalgic note, the memorable reunion came to a heart-warming conclusion.
