HSUHK Delegation Visits Tin Ka Ping Foundation
Led by Professor Simon Ho, President of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK), the delegation of the University visited Tin Ka Ping Foundation on 27 February 2025. The delegation was warmly received by Mr Tin Wing-sin, Chairman of the Board of the Tin Ka Ping Foundation; Dr Yuen Pong-yiu, Executive Chairman of the Board; Mr Tin Hing-sin, Member of the Board of Directors; Mr Bryan Tin, Group Chief Executive Officer; and Mr David Day, Chief Executive.
During the visit, Professor Joshua Mok, Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research) and Dean of Graduate School, along with Dr Josiah Chan, Vice-President (Organisational Development), engaged in an in-depth discussion with the Foundation on the development of the University and higher education. They expressed gratitude for the Foundation’s continuous support for the University’s development and gained a deeper understanding of the Foundation’s vision. Professor Alex Cheung, Chair Professor, Head of the Department of Chinese and Director of Tin Ka Ping Institute for Chinese Language and Culture, also reported on the activities held at the Institute and its future development.
The student representatives of Tin Ka Ping Scholarship and Bursary Scheme expressed their gratitude for receiving the awards and shared their learning experiences. President Ho exchanged views with the Foundation on teaching and research innovation, and holistic development of students, and anticipated a strengthened collaboration between the two parties. The directors of the Foundation thanked the HSUHK delegation for their visit. They acknowledged the remarkable progress HSUHK has made recently and commended our students for their modesty and courtesy.
