On 19 June 2017, Hang Seng Management College (HSMC) organised the Naming Ceremony of Dr Ho Cheuk Fai Classroom in A213 of the S H Ho Academic Building to acknowledge Dr Ho’s generous donation in support of the sustained development of the College.

HSMC Governor Dr Patrick Poon, President Simon Ho, and Dr and Mrs Ho officiated at the ceremony in the presence of HSMC management representatives and Dr Ho’s relatives and business partners.

In his welcome address, President Ho conveyed his appreciation for Dr Ho’s generosity conducive to launching HSMC’s research projects and enhancing its campus environment. President Ho highlighted HSMC students’ active participation in various intercollegiate competitions with great results, generating praise from different sectors of the community. He also stressed that HSMC was fully equipped to become a leading private university in anticipation of its attainment of university title by 2018.

In his speech Dr Ho underlined HSMC’s location below the Lion Rock and thus the College’s embodiment of the “Lion Rock spirit”. He commended HSMC for the ongoing progress it has made in grooming talent to foster the prosperity of Hong Kong, and wished HSMC success in attaining university title as soon as possible.
