Hang Seng Management College (HSMC) named a teaching room in S H Ho Academic Building after Mr Lai Shu Chi in recognition of his recent donation in support of the College’s campus expansion project.

At the naming ceremony held on 9 March 2015, Mr & Mrs Lai officiated at the plaque unveiling ceremony together with Mr & Mrs Tony Lai, Dr Anthony Wong, Mr Ernest Yuen, President Simon Ho, Professor Gilbert Fong, Provost, and Dr Karen Chan, Vice-President (Organisational Development).

In his welcoming address, President Simon Ho expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Mr Lai Shu Chi and commended on his remarkable contribution to the logistics industry in Hong Kong and his clear vision of running and managing businesses, “Mr Lai has set a role model that encourages young people to persevere in pursuing knowledge and facing challenges. His heart for education and society is admirable.”
