HSUHK Delegation Visits Tin Ka Ping Foundation
A delegation from The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK), led by Professor Simon Ho, President of HSUHK, visited the Tin Ka Ping Foundation on 16 March 2026. The delegation was warmly received by Mr Tin Wing-sin, Chairman of the Board; Dr Yuen Pong-yiu, Executive Chairman of the Board; Mr Bryan Tin, Group Chief Executive Officer; and Mr David Day, Chief Executive.
During the visit, Professor Joshua Mok, Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research) and Dean of the Graduate School, and Dr Josiah Chan, Vice-President (Organisational Development), expressed their sincere appreciation for the Foundation’s longstanding support of the University’s development. HSUHK and the Foundation also exchanged views on the long-term development of higher education and explored opportunities for future collaboration.
At the meeting, Dr Ivan Chen, Associate Head of the Department of Chinese and Associate Director of the Tin Ka Ping Institute of Chinese Language and Culture, reported to the Foundation on the Institute’s recent activities and future development.
Student representatives who are recipients of the Tin Ka Ping Scholarship and Bursary Scheme shared their reflections, learning experiences and aspirations during the visit. Their sharing was met with encouragement and commendation from members of the Foundation.
Representatives of the Tin Ka Ping Foundation expressed their appreciation for the HSUHK delegation’s visit and acknowledged the University’s achievements and progress in recent years. They also expressed hope that the Foundation and HSUHK would further strengthen their collaboration to nurture young talent and support student development.
