8 November 2018 marked the joyous occasion of the University Name Launching Ceremony. Witnessed by members of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) Board of Governors and Council as well as hundreds of teaching and administrative staff members, students, and alumni, Mr Dicky Yuen, Chairman of Hang Seng Management College and Hang Seng School of Commerce Alumni Association (HSMC / HSSC AA), joined Ms Louisa Cheang, Chairman of the Board of Governors of HSUHK; Professor Simon Ho, University President; Professor Gilbert Fong, Provost; Dr and Mrs Tzu-Leung Ho and Mr Thomas Liang, representatives of the two founding families; and Mr C K Li, Student Union President, to unveil the name plaque of the new university, celebrating a new chapter in HSUHK’s development towards a promising future.

Mr Dicky Yuen and other executive committee members of the Alumni Association also took the opportunity to catch up with the alumni, celebrating together the momentous occasion for their alma mater.
