Ms Bear Yip, Head of Brokerage Distribution Department, and Beverly Yu, Senior Business Manager of China Life Insurance (Overseas) Co. Ltd., visited The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) on 10 December 2018, accompanied by Mr Thomas Ching, Member of HSUHK Fundraising and Donation Committee, and Ms Anita Lau, Executive Director of Consolidated Marketing Group International Wealth Management Limited. They were warmly received by Ms Elisa Chan, Director, and Ms Alice Chan, Manager of the Advancement and Alumni Affairs Office.

Ms Yip and Ms Yu were given a comprehensive introduction of HSUHK to deepen understanding of the University. They were then shown around the campus from SCOM TV Studio to HSUHK Jockey Club Residential Colleges, and Lee Shau Kee Complex.

Ms Yip and Ms Yu later joined a luncheon with representatives of School of Decision Sciences. They learned about the HSUHK’s postgraduate programme in actuarial studies and insurance, and further exchanged insights on the enrichment needs and course development among the academic-industry collaborations, which will provide better learning platforms for both students and field practitioners.
