Visit from Mr Solomon and his team members
Mr Solomon Yung, Senior District Director of AIA International Limited, along with his team members, visited The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) on 10 December 2024. They were warmly received by Professor Simon Ho, President of HSUHK, Ms Elisa Chan, Director of Advancement and Alumni Affairs, and Ms Alice Chan, Senior Manager of Advancement and Alumni Affairs.
During the meeting, Professor Ho introduced the diverse teaching environment at HSUHK and highlighted the competitiveness of certain academic programmes. Mr Yung shared his work philosophy, emphasising the importance of communication and collaboration within the team, as well as supporting team members in cultivating various interests and hobbies to discover their own values. He appreciated HSUHK’s commitment to “teaching in accordance with students’ aptitude”, which aims to cultivate more outstanding students who can contribute to the society in the future. The discussion between both parties was lively and enjoyable.
The guests then toured the campus, including the University’s Residential Colleges, The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong – Foundation Wall, and experienced a simulated news broadcast at the SCOM Cinema and TV Production Centre. The visit concluded in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere, with both parties looking forward to further cooperation.
