Visit from Mr Yiu Wang-lee and Ms Jennifer Zhou
Mr Yiu Wang-lee, Executive Director, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of The Wing Lee Development Construction Holdings Limited, and Ms Jennifer Zhou, Managing Director of China Wealth Hong Kong Machines Limited. paid a visit to the campus on 20 November 2024, accompanied by Mr Andric Yew, member of HSUHK Fundraising and Donation Committee. They were warmly received by Professor YV Hui, Acting Vice-President (Organisational Development), Ms Elisa Chan, Director of Advancement and Alumni Affairs, and Ms Alice Chan, Senior Manager of Advancement and Alumni Affairs.
During the welcome session, Professor Hui took the opportunity to highlight its latest developments, particularly the new programmes being offered. Mr Yiu and Ms Zhou expressed their enthusiasm for the University’s efforts to continually update its curriculum in response to the changing demands of various industries and to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among its students.
Following the welcome session, the guests were treated to a campus tour which provided them with a better understanding of the recent advancements of the University. The tour covered facilities such as the Lee Ping Yuen Chamber, Auditorium, and The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong – Foundation Wall. The highlight of Mr Yiu and Ms Zhou’s visit was their interaction with a student at the HSUHK Jockey Club Residential Colleges. The visit concluded in a positive atmosphere, with both parties looking forward to future collaborations.
