Mrs Cecilia Cheung paid a visit to the campus on 20 July 2022 with Ms Iris Tung, Executive Director of The Cross-Harbour Holdings Ltd, and Mr Kenneth Leung, our Honorary Fellow. They were warmly received by Prof. Simon Ho, President, Ms Elisa Chan, Director of Advancement and Alumni Affairs, and Ms Alice Chan, Senior Manager of the Advancement and Alumni Affairs Office.

During the fruitful welcome session, Prof. Ho introduced the University’s latest development, The Creative Humanities Hub, a 5-storey environmentally and sustainability-conscious construction located in the North Campus. It will house a Gallery, Multi-Media Editing Lab, Multi-Purpose Digital Studio, Lecture Theatre, which will be equipped with cutting-edge lighting and sound system, animation, computer, graphics, and video editing-production facilities.

Afterward, Mrs Cheung, Ms Tung, and Mr Leung went on a campus tour which furnished them with a better understanding of the recent advancement of the University. The tour covered Auditorium, SCOM Cinema, and TV Production Centre, The Inspiring, Sports Hall, The Financial Trading Laboratory, Fung Yiu King Hall, and the HSUHK Jockey Club Residential Colleges. The guests were impressed by the well-equipped hardware facilities built by and located in HSUHK.
