On 11 June 2018, Ms Irene Lee, Chairman of Hysan Development Company Limited, was warmly received on campus by Mrs Patricia Wong, Vice-chairman of Fundraising and Donation Committee; President Prof. Simon Ho; Ms Elisa Chan, Director, and Ms Alice Chan, Manager, of Advancement and Alumni Affairs Office.

Ms Lee visited the academic buildings, the SCOM Broadcasting Studio, the Sports and Amenities Centre and the HSMC Jockey Club Residential Colleges and gained a better understanding of the College’s recent developments and achievements.

The campus tour was followed by a luncheon hosted by President Prof. Ho, who shared with Ms Lee HSMC’s vision and mission, as well as its unique “Liberal + Professional” education model. Highly supportive of Prof. Ho’s education philosophy, Ms Lee expressed her wish to explore opportunities for future cooperation between her company and the College.
