On 31 August 2018, Prof. Cheung Siu Wing, Founding Secretary of Professional Validation Council of Hong Kong Industries, and Dr Andy Chui, Chairman of Checkmate Capital, were warmly received by President Prof. Simon Ho and Dr Lewis Luk, Member of Fundraising and Donation Committee.

Accompanied by Ms Elisa Chan, Director, and Ms Alice Chan, Manager of Advancement & Alumni Affairs, the visiting guests went on a campus tour, covering academic buildings, the BJC Broadcasting Studio, HSMC Jockey Club Residential Colleges, and the Sports and Amenities Centre.

Prof. Cheung and Dr Chui later joined a luncheon on campus, hosted by Prof. Ho, who shared with the guests HSMC’s vision and mission, as well as its unique “Liberal + Professional” education model, giving them a better understanding of recent developments of the College and achievements of its students.

The guests expressed their appreciation of President Ho’s educational philosophy and wished HSMC every success in becoming a leading private university in the near future to continue nurturing young leaders for society.
