VISIT FROM THE CMA DELEGATION
A five-member delegation from The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA) led by Professor Lo Yuk Lam, Member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Education Standing Committee of CMA, and Dr Edward Tsui, Vice President and Vice Chairman of the Education Standing Committee of CMA, visited HSMC on 12 April 2017. The delegation received an update on the College’s latest developments and toured academic buildings, podium roof garden, TV Studio, Radio Broadcasting Studio, Library and HSMC Jockey Club Residential Colleges.
The delegation was warmly received by President Simon S. M. Ho; Dr Tom Fong, Acting Vice-President (Organisational Development); Professor Scarlet Tso, Acting Provost; and Ms Elisa Chan, Acting Director of Advancement and Alumni Affairs Office.
President Ho praised CMA for its long-standing support for local higher education institutions and appreciated that CMA shared the same aspirations with HSMC in nurturing young talents with global perspectives and professionalism. He emphasised that HSMC would continue to strive to strengthen collaboration with industrial and commercial sectors, as well as provide its students with all-round development.
