Lights On, Moments Roll – Alumni Movie Day
On 11 April, the Advancement and Alumni Affairs Office hosted its first-ever Alumni Movie Day, bringing alumni together through the magic of cinema. The event was met with an enthusiastic response, as alumni took a break from their busy schedules to enjoy a relaxing weekend morning with family and friends. The gathering also served as a wonderful opportunity for three generations of our alumni community – HSSC, HSMC, and HSUHK – to reunite and reconnect.
The featured family-friendly animation, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, delighted the audience with its heartfelt portrayal of friendship, drawing both laughter and smiles from the crowd. Beyond the screening, the interactive session was a major highlight; special gifts were presented to participants who creatively dressed as movie characters and to winners of the fun trivia quiz, adding an extra touch of joy and excitement to the morning.
We look forward to seeing more alumni at our future gatherings as we continue to nurture this shared legacy of joy and connection.
