Associate Alumni Members Welcoming Booth
To engage students, all alumni-to-be, at an early stage, students are granted an associate membership in the HSUHK alumni community. To celebrate this, a special Associate Alumni welcoming booth was set up at the Lee Quo Wei Academic Building from 20 to 21 February 2024. The purpose of this booth was to officially welcome the students and provide them with valuable information of the alumni community.
During the event, souvenirs were prepared for all students as a token of appreciation. Additionally, students were encouraged to follow the official LinkedIn page of the Advancement and Alumni Affairs Office. By doing so, they would receive regular updates on alumni activities, keeping them informed about the latest happenings.
Being associate members of the alumni community comes with its benefits. Students now have the opportunity to participate in selected alumni events and networking activities. This allows them to connect with professionals, industry practitioners, and senior fellows of the alumni community. By engaging in these activities, students can foster personal and career development, gaining valuable insights and connections.
The students had a better understanding of the alumni community through a showcase of the alumni activities organised in the past, providing them with a glimpse into the vibrant and active community they are now a part of.
