HSUHK delegation connects with alumni in Hangzhou
Organised by the Advancement and Alumni Affairs Office, an alumni dinner was held in Hangzhou on 8 August, bringing together alumni and University representatives for a warm evening of connection and fond memories.
The HSUHK delegation included Professor Simon S. M. Ho, President of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK), Professor Chan Wai-sum, Dean of the School of Decision Sciences, Ms Elisa Chan, Director of Advancement and Alumni Affairs, and University representatives from various Offices.
During the dinner, alumni shared updates on their career and personal developments with University representatives, and looked back on their learning journey at HSUHK. They recalled the challenges of moving to Hong Kong for further studies, memorable moments from campus life, the close and supportive relationships between teachers and students, and the inspiration their studies had brought to their personal growth and career development.
University representatives shared the alma mater’s latest developments with the alumni and expressed sincere appreciation for their continuous care and support. The delegation encouraged alumni to maintain close ties with HSUHK and work together to support the University’s ongoing growth.
In addition to the alumni gathering, the delegation undertook a dynamic itinerary in Hangzhou, visiting leading technology enterprises and Zhejiang University to strengthen student exchange and academic collaboration while successfully expanding new resources for HSUHK.
