HSUHK OVERSEAS ALUMNI GATHERINGS IN AUSTRALIA

Dr Tom Fong, Vice-President (Organisational Development) hosted the first of its kind overseas alumni gatherings in Sydney and Melbourne on 12 and 14 May 2023 respectively.

The Advancement and Alumni Affairs Office initiated the overseas alumni gatherings and gathered alumni and exchange students who were currently staying in Melbourne and Sydney. It offered a great opportunity to connect the overseas alumni with their alma mater after their graduation and all the alumni were happy to meet each other and the HSUHK representatives. 

During the dinner reunions, the alumni had a fruitful chat and shared their recent experiences on their work life or further studies in the cities. They were also able to learn more about the University’s recent development. The alumni were also invited to join the overseas alumni network. The University will step up its efforts to help connect the overseas alumni with their alma mater and have their support in building alumni networks in cities around the globe.
