Latest Campus Entry Measures for Homecoming Alumni
Following the Government’s announcement on the implementation of Stage 3 Vaccine Pass, the University has implemented Vaccine Pass for campus entry with Stage 3 (i.e. those aged 12 or above who have completed two jabs for at least six months would need to receive the third jab) to take effect from 31 May 2022, in addition to the prevailing Health Declaration (HD) requirements.
Recovered persons should upload the relevant recognised proof of recovery in the HD if they have not completed full course of vaccine required of by the Vaccine Pass or with recognised medical exemption for COVID-19 vaccination. However, they shall resume to normal requirement of HD three months after recovery.
The University reserves the right to only allow entry of those who have fully complied with both the Health Declaration and Vaccine Pass requirements.
Steps for campus entry:
(A) Holders of HSUHK Alumni Card (Free) and HSUHK Alumni Association Card (Life Membership fee $200):

Upon arrival:
- Scan the “LeaveHomeSafe” QR code and present the QR code of vaccination or medical exemption certificate to the QR Code Verification Scanner (next to the security counter). Temperature checking will be carried out at the entrance.
- Present your HSUHK cards to prove your identity and complete the health declaration (paper form or online form).
(B) Holders of Affiliate Card – Alumni (Annual fee $300):
Before arrival:
- Complete the online health declaration form and upload the proof of vaccination proof or valid medical exemption certificate in advance for campus entry.
Upon arrival:
- Tap your card at the entrance to prove your identity as well as your status of health declaration.
*Pre-registration for guests who are accompanied by Affiliate Cardholders is not required.
(C) Alumni accompanying guests (Pre-registration is required from an invited office):
If alumni wish to bring external guests with you, please contact us at alumni@hsu.edu.hk or 3963 5169 for pre-registration two working days in advance. Please provide (1) purpose of visiting campus (2) date and arrival time (3) full names of guests (4) specific venue of visit.
Upon arrival:

- Complete the visitor information record form and health declaration (paper form or online form).
