The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) was one of the four universities that received the donation of the “5-Year Scholarship and Bursary Programme” from the Life Underwriters Association of Hong Kong (LUA) and LUA Foundation. The LUA and LUA Foundation pledged a total of HKD$2,000,000 to support four universities in the next 5 years.   A Cheque Presentation Ceremony was held on 19 August 2022. President Simon Ho represented HSUHK receiving a cheque with the amount of $500,000 from Mr Stanley Tse, President of LUA and Ms Teresa So, Chairman of LUA Foundation.

On behalf of HSUHK, Prof. Ho thanked Mr Tse and Ms Lo for the generous donation.  This Scholarship and Bursary will allow students at HSUHK to pursue academic excellence and relieve them of their financial burden.
