STAFF-ALUMNI SPORTS GATHERING
An on-campus sports reunion exclusively for all alumni-turned-staff members called Staff-Alumni Sports Gathering was organised by the Advancement and Alumni Affairs Office once again on 16 June 2023 (Friday) during the lunch break after its debut success in June 2021. To welcome the participants, souvenirs were prepared for distribution.
President Simon S M Ho was invited to host the event and he expressed his heartfelt thanks for the staff-alumni’s continuous support to their alma mater and acknowledged their dual-role as both our staff and alumni.
Two new sports Spikeball and Pickleball were showcased. President Ho, Dr Tom Fong, Vice-President (Organisational Development), Ms Elisa Chan, Director of Advancement and Alumni Affairs, and Members of the Alumni Affairs Committee also joined with the staff-alumni and immersed themselves in the exciting sports game. Under professional coaching, the participants enjoyed the taste of playing new sports and teaming up for a mini competition.
The event was well-received by all participants, reuniting staff-alumni with colleagues who contributed to the alumni engagement in the HSUHK family.
