Visit from Dr Chung Wai-ping, Mr Chris Chung and Mr Maurice Kong

Dr Chung Wai-ping, Chairman of Tao Heung Holdings Limited, Mr Chris Chung, Director of Operation of Tao Heung Group and Mr Maurice Kong, Chairman of Institution of Dining Art Foundation visited The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) on 3 January 2024. They were warmly received by Dr Tom Fong, Vice-President (Organisational Development) and Ms Alice Chan, Senior Manager of the Advancement and Alumni Affairs Office.

Dr Fong expressed his gratitude for the esteemed guests’ presence and provided an overview of the university’s latest developments. He highlighted the university’s commitment to providing a holistic education that prepares students for the ever-evolving demands of the business world.

The guests were taken on a short tour around the university campus, allowing them to witness firsthand the remarkable construction and latest developments. As they explored the state-of-the-art facilities, including modern classrooms and collaborative spaces, the guests were amazed by the university’s commitment to creating an environment conducive to learning and innovation.

Prof. Simon Ho, President and Dr Thomas Man, Associate Dean (Enterprise and Business Engagement) of School of Business and Director of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship then joined the group to tour the Tao Heung Museum of Food Culture. This unique experience provided insights into the rich culinary heritage of Hong Kong.

As a delightful conclusion, HSUHK representatives were invited to the lunch gathering organised by Dr Chung Wai-ping, providing an excellent opportunity for further discussions for future collaborations and partnerships between the two parties.
