Visit from Marga Group
Dr Stephen Suen, Chairman of Marga Group, visited HSUHK. Dr Suen received a warm reception from Dr Moses Cheng, Council Chairman; President Simon Ho; Dr Tom Fong, Vice-President (Organisational Development); Ms Elisa Chan, Director of Advancement and Alumni Affairs.
A prominent figure in the business world, Dr Suen not only possesses remarkable business acumen but also has a deep passion for the arts. He actively promotes cultural and artistic development in Hong Kong. During his visit, he specifically toured the Virtual Reality Centre and engaged in discussions with Professor Desmond Hui, the Head of the Department of Art and Design, providing valuable insights and suggestions for the department. He also met with Dr Siu Sai-yau, Director of the Research Centre for Translation of Buddhist Texts, to learn about the centre’s research work and achievements.
Dr Suen praised HSUHK’s comprehensive development and distinctive and he was very keen on establishing a close cooperative relationship with our University in nurturing future talent together.
