VISIT FROM TIN KA PING FOUNDATION
Mr Tin Hing Sin, Chairman of the Board of the Tin Ka Ping Foundation, Mr Tin Wing Sin and Dr Yuen Pong Yiu, Prof. Roy Chung Chi Ping, Members of the Advisory Board, and Mr David Day, Chief Executive, visited The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) on 24 March 2023 (Friday).
Dr Tom Fong Wing Ho, Vice-President (Organisational Development), gave a tour of the campus and explained the construction of the new Academic Building (The Creative Humanities Hub). The guests also visited the Institute for Chinese Language and Culture. Dr Fong said, “HSUHK is very pleased that the Tin Ka Ping Foundation has taken the time to visit and share its views on the development of education with HSUHK, which is very meaningful.” Chairman Tin said, “HSUHK has its unique characteristics, with staff who are enthusiastic about teaching and student experience, thus building up a good relationship with students through small class teaching.
During the luncheon, President Simon Ho, Prof. Y V Hui, Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research), and Dr Tom Fong briefed the guests on the latest developments and future prospects of HSUHK, and thanked the Foundation for its support and guidance over the years.
